We can!

We won't pierce anyone who can't express their desire to be pierced, so no infants, sorry!

To pierce minors, we do require:

   A Parent or *LEGAL* Guardian to complete paperwork and be present for the piercing

   Photo ID for the Parent/Guardian

  Photo ID for the Minor - Any state ID, Passport, School ID or "Safe Child" ID

   Proof of Guardianship - Usually the Minor's Birth Certificate if the present parent is one of the parents on the certificate, or Custody Papers

NY requires us to have parents complete a form, and also requires us to sign that form stating that we verified that a Parent or Legal Guardian was present.

We are offering nostril piercings again, and will be offering septums in the near future!

The possibility of future Oral Piercings is being re-evaluated as well.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but one of our biggest responsibilities in this craft is to the safety of our community.

Per Section 260.21 of New York State Penal Law, it is illegal to tattoo anyone under 18 for any reason, even with "parental consent", and even if the person is "almost 18".

Appointments will guarantee your spot and help our artists be better prepared, but if you stop by & we have enough time for what you want to get, we'll fit you in.

In most cases, yes, one friend is OK.

We have a very small storefront, so space is always limited, so we may have to ask "extra" people to step outside at some points.

While we love the idea of groups of friends coming to experience the shop and how we do things - we do still have to keep the number of people in the shop to a minimum. We do have a public bench outside, so weather permitting, it's always an option to have multiple friends "cycle" through as you're being tattooed - as long as it's done in an orderly manner.

We will always allow one parent of any minor being pierced, or one guest for any adult recieving a service that requires disrobing.

Currently, We have one Tattooer/Piercer: ran , & one Piercer: Joe.

Tattooers:

ran specializes in bright, bold, "folky", full-color illustrative tattooing rooted in both Eastern & Western tattooing traditions.

Piercers:

ran is our piercer who specializes in piercing young kids, and though it may mean you'll have to book out a ways, it's worth the wait.

Joe is great with kids as well, but with how tightly we're having to book things, we've decided to each focus on different piercing types - ran focusing on using their extraordinary patience and experience as a parent to help kids feel at ease, and Joe focusing on being a fast, efficient piercing machine - and though he's skilled at not making you feel rushed, that kind of efficiency can be overwhelming for a very young person!

Shop Minimum is $90 (which covers up to a half-hour of tattoo time)

ran's hourly rate is $180
